    現在, 膵・胆道疾患において腹部超音波検査が標準的な検診法として一般に認知されているが, その結果についての詳細な報告は少ない。2016年1月から12月までの1年間に, 豊見城中央病院附属健康管理センターで腹部超音波検診を施行した受診者を対象とし, 膵・胆道に関する結果を検討した。総受診者数は17248名であった。膵観察不良率は男性55.1％, 女性12.1％であり, 体型別では痩せ型／標準型／肥満型の順に男性16.3％／43.6％／70.0％, 女性1.4％／7.4％／27.8％であった。各臓器に何らかの所見を有する有所見率は膵1.1％, 胆道28.1％であった。各所見の有所見率のうち高頻度のものは, 膵で膵嚢胞0.61％, 主膵管拡張0.27％, 膵腫瘤0.19％, 胆道で胆嚢ポリープ18.7％, 胆石18.7％, 胆嚢腺筋腫症3.6％であった。要精検率は膵0.44％, 胆道0.35％であった。精検受診率は膵76.0％, 胆道71.8％であった。癌発見率は膵0.012％, 胆道0％であった。男性で標準型・肥満型, 女性で肥満型の受診者は膵描出能が悪く, 飲水法追加などの方法改善を要すると考えられた。
